Oak is prized in furniture making, cabinetry and carving because of its durability, workability, and natural beauty. It possesses a pleasing golden colour, eventually drying to a soft silvery tone over time. Even its texture needs little or no decoration to look attractive.

Our turning blanks are carefully selected by our expert staff. Every blank is kiln-dried with hot wax applied to the end grain and edges to prevent reabsorption of moisture whilst in storage. This ensures your finished object will be stable when brought into a centrally heated environment.
