Spruce Shakes

A very cost-effective option, European Spruce is lightweight, stable and environmentally friendly. It has a lovely uniform texture and can be treated to increase durability and decay resistance.

Pressure impregnation is available on request.

Standard Spruce Shakes

Standard shakes are bevelled (chamfered) at an angle of 45° at the thick butt end.

They are hand split, random width, taper-cleaned by machine and bevelled at butt.

Fancy-Butt Shakes

These shakes are hand split, round scaled, taper cleaned by machine and bevelled at butt.
