Solid timber pergolas - bespoke sizes and designs or standard kits

All of our pergolas are constructed in carefully selected green European Oak or English Douglas Fir, and we also offer oak gazebo kits in range of styles and dimensions. The timber we use is sustainably sourced. We are able to source FSC and PEFC certified timber for projects if required, just let us know at the start of the project. We are a Timber Development UK Responsible Purchaser. When you buy from us, you’re buying timber that has passed strict quality guidelines.   • It is important that you use stainless steel or galvanised screws, as the tannic acid in the oak will quickly corrode iron and leave black streaks down your pergola/gazebo. It is recommended that you use one screw on the end of each cross member to hold it to the frame. Fixings can be supplied on request.

  • If you have to store your pergola/gazebo kit before you’re able to have it assembled, please try to keep it somewhere dry and protected. We strongly recommend that you do not store the kit for longer than 4 weeks as joints may become misaligned and harder to assemble due to moisture reduction over the time period.

    One of the biggest benefits that comes with our pergola and gazebo kits is that they are primed for swift assembly. By crafting each kit using traditional jointing techniques, it allows either professional tradespeople or experienced home DIYers the opportunity to build the pergola. We would recommend a few helping hands to get your project underway, as the solid oak posts are heavy and therefore will be difficult to lift and fix into position without help.

  • You can leave your pergola or gazebo untreated. If you wish to treat the timber, do contact our expert team for advice as regards suitable products.

  • All timber will be delivered palletised ready to be assembled. We can arrange delivery to anywhere in the UK. Alternatively, you can collect the pergola/gazebo kit from our site in Selham, West Sussex.
