We have full control of the raw material: from log to the finished flooring, with onsite moulding and kilning facilities to ready the floor for end use applications.

Bespoke Flooring
Bespoke flooring can be produced from any suitable kiln dried hardwood stock - boards can be butt jointed, half-lapped or tongue and grooved. In addition, our flooring elements range includes European Oak and Douglas Fir block and parquet. All flooring is manufactured, calibrated, wrapped and packed at our sawmill and workshop. We also supply a full range of second fix products, including: skirting, architrave, scotias and thresholds, together with all undercarriage requirements and selected finishes.
To complement our flooring, WL West Timber are able to manufacture bespoke treads and risers for staircases, either to over-sail existing treads and risers or new. Circular staircase treads are a speciality. Under floor heating applications are available, as are stick down systems.

Strip Floor Specifications
Offset tongue & groove for secret nailing onto joists or WL West Timber undercarriage system with neoprene pads, with stress relief grooves and anti-squeak groove. For solid, dry level, sound screeded floors a stick down system is available.
Working with a local Contract Flooring Association member, we are able to offer supply and installation flooring services. For supply into most situations, from small domestic to large commercial floors, a detailed survey of your property will be undertaken.
