Sapele (Entandrophragma cylindricum)

A lovely reddish-brown or purple-brown colour characterised by a well-defined stripe on quartered surfaces. Typically used for joinery and furniture.

Our turning blanks are carefully selected by our expert staff. The quality control inspection ensures our blanks are split and shake free. Every blank has hot wax applied to the end grain and edges to prevent end splitting through the drying process. This ensures your finished object will be stable when brought into a centrally heated environment.
