Lemonwood (Calycophyllum multiflorum)

A lovely pale yellow colour with a fine, uniform texture. Lemonwood is wonderful to work with and a favourite for archery bows, carvings, turned objects and fishing rods.

Known as the king of carving woods, and for good reason. the close fine grain holds a very fine detail well.
