Natural History Museum
We received a tender pack from Jerram Falkus Construction to supply timber components for a staircase and flooring for the recently opened Anning Room in the Natural History museum.
One of our team visited the site with our customer to survey the work that was required to ensure that we achieved what the museum required. We were successful in getting awarded the order, having worked for this customer before.
The treds and risers were constructed from F Jointed tessellated staves for stability, from specially selected European Character Oak. Each tred was rebated to enable a slip resistant edge capping to be installed.
The floor was installed by Hutchison Flooring of Bognor Regis. one of the leading floor installers in the South of England.
