Our turning blanks are carefully selected by our expert staff. The quality control inspection ensures our blanks are split and shake free. Every blank is kiln-dried with hot wax applied to the end grain and edges to prevent reabsorption of moisture whilst in storage. This ensures your finished object will be stable when brought into a centrally heated environment. NOTE: These are grade 2 blanks and may need stabilising or filling before turning (may contain splits, knots, worm holes, punky timber). Please bear this in mind before purchasing.
