What is the Stromab TR 500 Matrix?
It’s a “cutting-edge†saw boasting an electronic push feed system and controlled axis for ultimate precision. It offers an ascending durable blade with the reliability of a pneumatic cut-off saw, as well as a heavy duty rack and pinion guide system for accurate positioning and continuous loading of material. The motor system features a brushless motor which benefits from less energy wasted in friction and heat, and more energy expelled on the torque. Finally, it utilises a planetary reduction unit, along with a precision encoder. It’s the perfect piece of kit for those who require timber cutting services or need to rid their materials of defects and knots.

- Have a piece of timber that’s perfect in every way – apart from the knot? The TR 500 is a defect saw designed to remove flaws in the timber to create the perfect material for your project. Once marked either side of the knot in the timber, the saw has a camera which can then locate the knot and will cut the timber each side of the defect, leaving you with a workpiece which cannot be faulted.
- Presets are enabled to be saved in order to speed up task time for cutting timber to the same length. The programming and input of cutting lists is possible through the use of the 12-inch touch screen control unit so you can get to work straight away. The control system allows robust and reliable use of the saw, making strenuous tasks a thing of the past.
- Benefit from ultimate optimisation, perfect for those working with variable-length materials, whether your materials are loaded in bundles or individually, the automatic measurement of the material will ensure minimal waste and optimal use of every workpiece.
