Now if you were getting the idea that we are only about wood turning and carving, think again, that is about as far from the truth as it is possible to get.

Yes, we do cater for our turning and carving friends, but we have a large area dedicated to those of you that like to use hardwoods in the home. Have you just started making furniture? Or is there a repair that needs a quality piece of hardwood?

Well, pop out and see us, we're easy to get to and if you follow the map on our contacts page it will be easier still.

And................we have a selection of general purpose tools as well, you've heard it before.....if you can't see what you want, please ask.

Native Timbers

As a working sawmill we are able to offer as well as most of the more common joinery timbers some of the less common. For some of the trade timbers look at our Timber Supplies page.

In addition to the more regularly traded species, we have in stock the following Through and Through (still wany edged) boards:-

• Lime 100, 125 & 150mm
• Acacia 27, 54 & 80mm
• Elm Burrs
• Oak Burrs

• Small English Walnut logs

If you have a special requirement if we don't have any we may be able to source it. From time to time we do find some species less easily available, so call in from time to time.
