WESTS WOOD SHOW 2009 - Review 

Julie Heryatt join us this year to give some guidance in wood turning

New visitors included musical instrument makers

One part of the future of our industry was re-resented by Chichester College. Thankfully our local college has had the sense and drive to place both good wood based courses and excellent tutors on their courses.

The furniture skills seem to get better every year.

Nick Gibbs joined us this year - he told us he was making the alternative pool cue!!!

A new element of this years show was Steve Woodley. Trained as a forester he has built his skills in green wood working. Here he is seen hewing a beam out of an Oak log. 

Les Thorne a regular visitor to the show gave some expert and humorous tuition

Pilgrim Harps this year brought an excellent harpist to fully demonstrate their instruments

Carving Clubs

Even woodturning for the youngsters.
